ACCOUNTING

The Accounting Committee reviews and sets guidelines for the annual budget that is then considered by the Board of Directors.
ARPAC

The ARPAC Committee helps to educate NCBOR members on the benefits and importance of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC). It encourages members to donate, coordinate fundraising events, and attend local & state political events and activities.
AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE

The Awards for Excellence committee compiles all of the data submitted to NCBOR to make sure they meet the requirements needed for the previous year’s sales recognition. They also plan the banquet set for February or March and present the awards.
BEREAVEMENT

The Bereavement Committee contacts REALTORS® who have lost immediate family members and offers compassion.
BYLAWS/MEMBERSHIP

The Bylaws Committee reviews the Board Bylaws and Rules and Regulations suggested by the National Association of REALTORS and the Arkansas REALTORS Association. The group makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding any changes as they become necessary.
CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST

The committee plans and coordinates the Annual Christmas Breakfast. The event takes place the first Thursday of December at East Side Baptist Church. Responsibilities include securing affiliate sponsors and setting up/tearing down the tables/chairs. The group meets as needed, leading up to the event.
CORE STANDARDS/PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

A committee comprised of the President, President Elect, Past President and Association Executive to make sure all standards required by NAR and ARA are completed.

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee helps promote diversity and quality in leadership and in the real estate industry. The group helps to find resources to share with consumers on fair housing.

Education/quarterly meeting

The Education Committee provides and promotes professional development, so members can keep abreast of changes in the industry. The group coordinates continuing education courses with quality instructors, and incorporates, publicizes, and supports ARA & NAR professional development and educational programs
feed our children

The committee plans and coordinates the annual Feed Our Children event in conjunction with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas. The event takes place in November.
fishing derby

The committee plans and coordinates a fishing derby that supports the Special Olympics.
hiring - HR

The Bereavement Committee contacts REALTORS® who have lost immediate family members and offers compassion.
nominations

The Nominating Committee develops a slate of candidates to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors that will be voted on by the General Membership.
public relations

The Public Relations Committee helps with the promotion of the North Central Board of REALTORS. This includes website re-design/updates, social media posts, and press releases to the media.
realtor® fun day

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee helps promote diversity and quality in leadership and in the real estate industry. The group helps to find resources to share with consumers on fair housing.
realtor® of the year

The ROY Committee is responsible for reviewing ROY applications, selecting the ROY, and forwarding information to ARA. It meets once a year.
- In June, an e-blast is sent a call to the membership asking for nominations.
- Nominations are due to NCBOR by the middle of July.
- The local winner is sent to ARA for the state award nomination on behalf of our Board.

The committee plans and coordinates activities to promote safety in the REALTOR community.
scholarship

Each year, NCBOR gives scholarships to deserving students. The Scholarship Committee accepts, reviews and awards the scholarships each year. The group also plans fundraising events to cover the costs of the scholarships.
special olympics

The committee plans and coordinates fundraisers supporting the Special Olympics.
strategic planning

The Strategic Planning Committee establishes goals and objectives for the North Central Board of REALTORS.
